Come enjoy the TOKYO CHRISTMAS MARKET for the first time.

Perfect for those who enjoy farm fresh vegetables, fruit and vegan food outdoors under the autumn sky. Every week there are top farmers and enterprising businesses gathering in front of the UNU Building offering some of the freshest and highest quality ingredients in Japan. Each vendor is an expert in their specialty so learning is always possible here. This week a few special guests:

CHRISTMAS SWEETS EVENT

The fourth weekend of each month features the regular event “Aoyama Sweet Treats Gathering,” where talented confectionery makers come together. This month, over two days, a total of 12 confectionery shops will showcase their creations. Held during the holiday season, this event offers the perfect sweets for treating yourself or giving as small gifts to those you appreciate.

In addition, the event will be held simultaneously with Natural Wine Love Vol.03, which brings together domestic wineries, importers, wine shops, and food vendors. You’ll find chocolates made from bean to bar, granola, cookies, and scones—perfect pairings for wine and easy to enjoy. Don’t miss out on the unique pairings offered exclusively at Natural Wine Event Love!

“Rice People, Nice People” Event

Plowing, planting, singing together to pray for a bountiful harvest, and celebrating the yield—rice cultivation has long been at the heart of community life, deeply intertwined with festivals and rituals. From amazake, sake, and miso to nukazuke pickles and rice vinegar, rice-based foods embody the wisdom of our ancestors and continue to enrich our meals today. Perhaps chewing rice thoroughly not only nourishes the body but also nurtures thoughtful reflection. In any case, people who eat rice are good people.

Under the theme “Rice People, Nice People”, this event features tastings and sales of freshly harvested rice from 2024. There will also be a test run of a venue pick-up and online ordering system, which will officially launch at the Farmers Market next year (note: orders are limited to the event venue and post-event online orders this time). Over two days, the event will also showcase rice-based foods and side dishes that make enjoying rice even more delightful.

Every week we bring the best Japanese knives to the market – many of which bear our original design. We also have a carefully curated selection of finely crafted tools and wares. We make beauty and function exist together harmoniously.
