A Bounty from the Earth: Meet the Domannaka Vegetable Farm (Saturdays Only)
From the foothills of Mt. Tsukuba, surrounded by peaceful rural landscapes, Domannaka Vegetable Farm is returning to the market for the first time in six months!
The owner, Mr. Motohashi, is a former backpacker who traveled the globe. While pondering the question, “What is true wealth?”, he arrived at the importance of food and began growing vegetables to feed his own family. Raised without reliance on pesticides or fertilizers and nourished only by the blessings of the land, these vegetables are truly a gift from the earth. This week, expect a summery lineup including cucumbers, moroheiya, and kobocha squash.
Domannaka Vegetable Farm will be with us every Saturday in July and August (taking a break on July 19th). Please come by and meet the wonderfully energetic Motohashi family!
A Journey into the World of Peppers: Spice Up Your Life with Peppers.jp (Sundays Only)
From July to September each year, Peppers.jp brings us a vibrant assortment of peppers from around the world—and that season is finally here again!
As the weeks go by, you’ll find the colors and varieties of peppers at their booth becoming more and more exciting. To kick things off, they’ll have fresh peppers like the Fushimi Jiro Togarashi. But for those who enjoy flavor alongside spice, they will also feature tomatillos (edible ground cherries). A beloved vegetable in Mexico, tomatillos have a refreshing, subtle acidity. They are perfect for making salsa verde (green salsa) with onions and cilantro, but are also delicious eaten raw in salads.
While we call them all “peppers,” each variety offers a unique level of heat, flavor, and appearance. Come and discover that there’s so much more to the world of peppers than just spice!

Every week we bring the best Japanese knives to the market featuring our original designs. We also have a carefully curated selection of finely crafted tools and wares. We love it when beauty and function exist together. This week we have bread knives, santoku and nakiri vegetable knives with sakura wood and kashi red oak wood handles.
the KULUR LAB TOKYO
Stop by the Kikusumi KULUR LAB booth and check out the new hand crafted and hand painted urushi chopsticks. FURU Urushi Wood Chopsticks enhances the original color to a warmer hue and enriches the wood grain. You can enjoy how they change with age over time. Each of the chosen tree species have different colors, hardness, weight, texture, and wood grain impressions.
This collection is crafted first in Kyoto to shape the wood chopsticks into square or octagon forms. Next, chopsticks are sanded one by one to ensure they feel great in the hands. The next step is to hand paint the chopsticks with fuki urushi twice. Between each layer is a significant drying time to ensure the urushi hardens correctly ensuring water proofing. Final step is to hand paint the Kikusumi logo on the top of each chopstick. There are 3 steps to this process. All together it takes just over one month to complete chopsticks in our Kulur Lab, Tokyo. The slow and meticulous creates a beautiful product with long lasting durability. We embrace this difficult journey with the hope of giving our customers a spark to everyday life.
Food to cool your body includes POS Kitchen green smoothie and ORGARS ice cream & hand squashed lemonade.
